Collabor.. What Now?

We've all heard the phrase we all know what it means but all is not as it seems when in referance to the art world as quite intrinsic distinctions are made in review of these works and the type of collaboration is highly important, I plan to go into this in more detail in a future post but as this is my first post i thought i'd keep it simple and list some standout collaborations that come to mind:

A very controversial collaboration here between Marcus Harvey and an unnamed school which i feel must have been kept in the dark by Harvey of his intentions for their handprints.

The Chapman Brothers - Jake and Dinos, are a prime example of a collaborative partnership as they work almost exclusively with each other.

I have often wondered wether Tunick's works are truly collaborative or merely participation due to the amount of input his "models" have, yet the notion that the work would not exist without their voluntering and the locality of the people sourced in relation to the work always lead me into thinking that Spencer is collaborating with the public, what do you think?

Seeming like the most unlikely of collaborations, a pre fame Delia Smith collaborated with the Stones for their "Let it Bleed" album cover, still don't know what the tyre is all about though!

Yes I know i have strived to keep this focussed on art and gone off on a tangent but at least i'm recognises what could be regarded as collaborative!
